New York, July 16 (FinanceEnquiry.com) – National Front leader, Marine Le Pen has decided to sue Madonna after an image at the US singer’s Paris concert showed party leader Marine Le Pen with a swastika imposed on her face.
National Front vice-president, Florian Philippot said, the party could not accept such an offensive behavior.
Marine Le Pen, who is the youngest daughter of the French politician, Jean-Marie Le Pen, former president of the Front National and currently its honorary Chairman has asked for €1,000,000 (£785,000) in damages.
Earlier also the same image has appeared at Madonna’s world tour concerts and she was warned by the extreme nationalist party not to repeat such in future.
The concert where Madonna was performing her song ‘Nobody Knows Me’ was backed by giant images on a screen which included the deposed Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak, Pope Benedict XVI and Marine Le Pen, with a swastika imposed on her forehead which later transforms into the image of Adolf Hitler.
