Recently, gold prices have considerably gone uphill. This month, as the euro railed 1 percent against the dollar the short term investors were unwilling to go for big risks just before the year end. In the same time, many of the long term investors have already closed their books.

Still commodities rose gradually along with the stock markets, as the investors from the US sharpened their appetite for creating assets with higher risks. With positive US and Europe economic readings the market conditions became a bit stable.
