Johnson and Johnson (JNJ) Shakes Up McNeil Unit Mgmt

New York, January 31 (FinanceEnquiry.com) - Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) is shaking up its McNeil unit, that makes Tylenol, once again by replacing two of its group chairmen.  The move comes after a series of recalls of its popular medicines. The consumer products company has been in a series of recalls since 2009, when hundreds of millions of bottles and packages of its medicines such as Benadryl, Tylenol, Rolaids and Motrin were pulled.

Patrick Mutchler, who had been given the charge to oversee the McNeil Consumer Healthcare unit last April, will be replaced along with Pericles Stamatiades, who was acting as the chief strategist for the consumer businesses of the company.
