Katie Holmes Files For ‘Emergent Application’

New York, July 5 (FinanceEnquiry.com) – Katie Holmes, who began divorce proceedings against estranged husband Tom Cruise last week – has filed for an emergency custody and child support hearing in New York yesterday to determine immediate custody and child support issues over the couple’s six-year-old daughter, Suri.

Katie wants the sole custody of her daughter Suri. Katie’s fears that daughter Suri was set to be inducted into a hardcore Scientology organisation, Sea Org were the driving force behind the end of her marriage to Hollywood star Tom Cruise.

Sea Org, as it is known, is where the highest levels of Scientology are taught and children as young as five can be sent to live there – without their parents.

Tom,  who is being represented by one of Los Angeles top divorce lawyers , Dennis Wasser, will have to hire his own New York-based attorney and the couple who were together for almost for six years will have to appear before Judge Matthew Cooper on July 17 in an open court  filling.

According to the sources, Katie’s  belief  that  she will not going to receive any kind of cooperation from Tom made her to file the emergency motion.

As a result of this, Katie and Tom are now going to have an open court room, which means that anyone can walk in and see what’s happening. It’s very harsh of part of Katie to take these steps. It suggests that there’s going to be a contentious divorce battle to come.
