NEW YORK, January 31 (FinanceEnquiry.com) - A global leader in human resource consulting and related services Mercer (NASDAQ: MERC) has appointed Emily Boynton has as senior consultant for its M&A Consulting Services business. She will be based in the New York office of the company.

As a part of her role, Boynton will head key M&A consulting customer projects and business development opportunities in the New York Metro market.  She will be reporting to Chuck Moritt, senior partner, New York Metro Market Leader for Mercer’s M&A Consulting Services.

Before joining Mercer, Boynton was serving as director, Global HR M&A for AECOM, where she was responsible for leading the HR aspects of due diligence and transition activities for both domestic and international deals. Prior to this, she was senior HR consultant in the Global Corporate Restructuring Group of Hewitt Associates. In this role, she was responsible for offering strategic subject-matter expertise and project management leadership for a large variety of mergers and acquisitions on behalf of her clients. Boynton started her career in the Labor and Employment Groups of Pitney Hardin LLP and Reed Smith Shaw and McClay.
