Muse & Michael to Perform on Olympic’s Closing Ceremony This Sunday

New York, August 9 (FinanceEnquiry.com) – Muse, who has composed the official track for Olympics will be performing on the closing ceremony to be held this Sunday along with Former Wham! Singer, Michael. Michael announced his involvement through twitter, who will be performing live after an year gap.

The ceremony has been scheduled to start at 2100 BST on Sunday and is likely to be watched by a crowd capacity of 80,000 at the Olympic Stadium along with the global audience of approximately 900 million, who watched the opening ceremony.

Other bands like The Who, Madness, Take That and the Spice Girls are also scheduled to perform in the big event. A team of around 4,000 local volunteers along with 400 children will be casted for the same.

All the athletes along with their nations’ flag-bearers, rather than divided by the nationality would be participating to symbolize how Games helped the world to be united together.

Flags of Greece, Great Britain, which is the host nation and Brazil will be raised and closing will be declared by International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge. And at the end, the Olympic flame, which is burning in the stadium since the opening ceremony, July 27, will be extinguished.
