Regal Beloit (RBC) Pays USD80 Million for Milwaukee Gear

 New York, February 4 (FinanceEnquiry.com) - Regal Beloit Corporation (NYSE:  RBC) has completed the acquisition of Wisconsin-based manufacturer of highly engineered gearing components Milwaukee Gear Company. The buyer has paid a total of $80 million in cash for the acquisition. 

The purchase price was subject to customary working capital adjustments. The transaction my add $0.03 to $0.06 to diluted earnings per share of Milwaukee in 2012, which is inclusive of the impact of purchase accounting adjustments and transaction costs. It is also expected to add $0.12 to $0.16 to diluted earnings per share in 2013. Additionally, Milwaukee Gear may also add nearly $60.0 million in revenue for the remainder of the fiscal 2012. The results of operations will be reported in the Mechanical section. More details on this transaction will be given during the previously announced fourth quarter and fiscal year earnings conference call on Tuesday.
